GeoParadise currently works in Central America, building bridges between
indigenous and modern tribes exploring ways of beneficial cooperation.
Inspired by our mantra "Leave Positive Trace", we organize conscientious
eco-cultural events and charitable programs
contributing to the positive transformation of our planet.
Once a year in a colorful amalgamation of ancient and modern we gather to share
our music, art, dance,culture, wisdom and love for Mother Earth in TRIBAL GATHERING.
A few little known facts about Panama:
1: It has the second largest rainforest in the Americas (After the Amazon)
2: Archaeologists are stating to find ancient roads a squares hidden under forest growth. No monuments are found here, because this is where the great tribes of north and south America met and traded and through respect of the others civilization only built roads to travel and squares to meet and trade.
3: The seven tribes in Panama have almost autonomous power and control over there lands, more than any other country in the Americas (This is due in part to the economic power of the canal overshadowing the need to extract minerals)
4: The isthmus of Panama was formed some 3 million years ago during the Pliocene epoch, separating the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and stopping a very hot current while causing the creation of the Gulf Stream (actually a cold current). In short, the Isthmus of Panama directly and indirectly influenced ocean and atmospheric circulation patterns, which regulated patterns of rainfall, which in turn sculpted landscapes, formed the icecaps and aided in the accent of mankind. Many consider it the most important geological event in the last 60,000,000 years.
Panama really is the hidden jewel, stepped past by travelers on there way to tourists destinations. It is the apex of the continent, its biosphere is filled with overlapping fauna and flora from North and South America, there's a thousand species of birds, jaguar, monkeys, sloth, whales, dolphins and more.
